I didn’t realise this wasn’t a rice dish until it arrived.Chicken rice and chicken.Frozen yoghurt with Oreos, nuts and dried berries.Buffet style; the pumpkin is a welcome addition.There is rice underneath all this. Mashed potato is awesome!Rice porridge flavoured with taro. Current favourite breakfast.My staple dinner: self selection of vegetables and meats. I can point to what I want.KFC coffee is great. I’m not a picky coffee drinker though. Snobs beware.
Oat and rice risotto with halibut.Another pizza, this time with rocket!Fancy scrambled eggs laid over rice with chicken curry.Tiramisu.An ‘Australian Coffee’ which I took to mean flat white.Hot Cocoa.Russian spaghetti; tastes amazing. Strong paprika and smokey flavours.The only milk with security tags was the A2 milk, which is a pretty good marketing strategy if you want it to look premium.Evidence of the ice cream.This is a hot donut-like bread with an ice cream slab inserted.Fried rice is a reliable cheap dinner.Hoisin duck pizza.Like a yoghurt pudding but made out of tofu I think.Microwave spaghetti is what you would expect.My hosts were excited for me to rate their coffee. This iced latte is about as good as any in New Zealand.I ordered this with no idea what it was. Noodles with bbq chicken and mushrooms.This might be millet porridge with pumpkin.
